David Yurman

One of the greatest accessories of all time is jewelry. It has been one of my favorite forms of adornment for as long as I can remember. I love how symbolic each piece can be—how every item tells its own story. You remember where you bought it, who gifted it to you, the occasion, and the emotions tied to it. What makes jewelry special isn’t just the precious metals or stones, but the memories held within it.

When I was dating my boyfriend, he asked me to be his girlfriend with a piece of jewelry—a David Yurman pavé diamond promise ring. I thought it was one of the most thoughtful things anyone had ever done for me. Not only was he asking me to be in a relationship with him, but he was giving me a symbol of our commitment and our love. He wanted me to know that we were dating with the intention of marriage, and that this ring was more than just jewelry—it was a promise for our future. It was the sweetest gesture, and it became my very first David Yurman piece.
